  • Main types

    1. Rubber injection molding: rubber injection molding is a production method of injecting rubber directly from the barrel into the mold for vulcanization. The advantages of rubber injection molding are: although it is an intermittent operation, the molding cycle is short, the production efficiency is high, the embryo preparation process is cancelled, the labor intensity is small, and the product quality is excellent.

    2. Plastic injection molding: plastic injection molding is a method of plastic products. The molten plastic is injected into the mold of plastic products by pressure, cooled and molded to obtain all kinds of plastic parts. There is a mechanical injection molding machine specially used for injection molding. At present, the most commonly used plastics are polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PA, polystyrene, etc.

    3. Molding and injection molding: the resulting shape is often the final product, and no other processing is required before installation or use as the final product. Many details, such as protrusions, ribs and threads, can be formed in one step of injection molding.

  • Salary market

    Injection molding workers are technical workers, generally between 7500-15000 yuan. The starting salary of practitioners with little work experience is about 8000 yuan. After having more than 2-3 years of work experience, the monthly salary can reach more than 9000 yuan.

    injection molding machine

    Injection molding machine (injection moulding machine) has two basic components: injection device and clamping device for melting and feeding plastic into the mold. The function of the clamping device is to:

    1. Make the mold close under the injection pressure;

    2. Take the product out of the injection device, melt the plastic before it is injected into the mold, and then control the pressure and speed to inject the melt into the mold. There are two designs of injection devices used today: screw type pre plasticizer or two-stage device, and reciprocating screw. The screw type pre plasticizer uses the pre plasticizing screw (the first stage) and then injects the molten plastic into the injection rod (the second stage).

    The advantages of screw pre plasticizer are constant melt mass, high pressure and high speed, and accurate injection volume control (using mechanical thrust devices at both ends of piston stroke). These advantages are needed for transparent, thin-walled products and high production rate. Its disadvantages include uneven residence time (leading to material degradation), high equipment costs and maintenance costs.

    The most commonly used reciprocating screw injection device does not need a plunger to melt and inject the plastic.

    The types of injection molding machines are vertical, horizontal and all electric, but no matter which kind of injection molding machine, its basic functions are two:

    (1) Heat the plastic to a molten state;

    (2) High pressure is applied to the molten plastic to make it shoot out and fill the mold cavity.
